The installation of a conventional CNG kit involves a series of precise steps to convert a vehicle engine to run on compressed natural gas (CNG) as an alternative fuel. First, the CNG tank, typically made of strong, lightweight materials like steel or composite, is securely mounted in the vehicle trunk or undercarriage, depending on the vehicle design and available space. The tank is connected to the fuel lines, ensuring the safe transport of the gas from the tank to the engine.
